Why Did

no one ever say how time consuming putting together a website was going to be!- I have been taking photos and editing them and then passing them to the lucky man who is building the structure of it all and uploading the framework - huge apologies to everyone who is waiting- we are working as fast as we can so keep checking back - I will announce here when it is live- it will be soon! - if you have been in and didn't pick something up that you want do give us a ring and we can post it out!.
It has been great to meet so many new faces in the shop this week - if you are passing pop in and say hello - when the sandwich board is out we are in!.
We have some gorgeous papers in this week from My Minds Eye - 'Pretty Please' range,
very flowery & pink along with a couple of Polka Dot patterns of course!.

So far I have completed two layouts with them and a mini book in a box - the die cut accessory sheet is a must have, the flowers look fantasic with a little adhesive bling gem in the centre.

Sunny Monday

in Chirk today, after what looked like a gloomy start the sun has shone for most of the day & thank goodness very little wind which saved me running down the street after the sandwich board which at the first sign of wind makes a run for it!!.
The crop was fun on Sunday, I actually managed to complete a mini album in between the chat and eating of cake- the next one is on Sunday 13th of September, bookings are being taken now.
More stock has been arriving , stamps, watercolour pencils which are great for colouring in your stamped images & bling!. We are waiting on some stamps from america which will be great for colouring in - hopefully in the next of couple of weeks they will make it over the sea.

Technical Success

after two cups of strong coffee I battled with today's parcel delivery which was the router for the shop so we can be live on line! - our first parcel went missing which gave me a reprieve from the techy stuff but today was the day and do you know what, it went without a hitch!- the instructions and quick set up guide did what they were meant too and in less than five minutes we were live!! so I can now blog from the shop!. We hope to be up and running with the website and full shopping cart within a week or two, thanks for your patience while we work our way through it with the tech guys. If you are out and about tomorrow pop in and say hello.

starts, at the end of this week we will be half way through the summer holidays, they seem to be whizzing by, I put my two willing holiday helpers to use today in sorting out the christmas stock, I know it is ages away but it pays to be prepared, we have some great classes planned so keep checking back!.
I also made a start on an altered class we have planned for October, and packed up some more £5 kits, it seems alot of holiday makers in the nearby caravan site are keen rainy day crafters! all in all a very productive day in an almost sunny Chirk. Doors will open again on Friday!
